Day 01

Phnom Penh Arrival

You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel to check-in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Day 02

Phnom Penh

Lost in Phnom Penh

After breakfast your tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace. The Palace was opened in 1870 under King Norodom, and now contains the Royal Residence, the Throne Hall, the Silver Pagoda, and other buildings. The Silver Pagoda (WatPreahKeoMorokat) is one of the city's most visited sites and offers a display of priceless Buddhist and historical objects. The Pagoda draws its name from the more than 5,000 silver tiles, which cover a floor in the temple. The building serves less as a functioning shrine,no monks currently reside here, and more as depository of cultural treasures such as the famous Emerald Buddha and many other valuable statues. You will also visit ToulSleng Prison Museum (also known as S21), the “Killing Fields” of ChouengEk. Complete your tour of Phnom Penh with a visit to the Russian market.
Day 03

Phnom Penh - Kratie

Day trip to Kratie

Breakfast at your hotel and travel by car from Phnom Penh to Kratie.

Kratie is a little town at the edge of the Mekong River. Very beautiful landscapes are crossed during the journey. Kratie is famous for its Dolphins Irrawaddy, which number about sixty specimens. The road following the river is lined with traditional Khmers houses rather old, and to walk there is very pleasant.
Day 04

Kratie - Banlung

Exploration of Banlung

Breakfast is served at the hotel.

Leave this morning by car from Kratie and proceed to Banlung.
Banlung City is the provincial capital of Ratanakiri Province in Cambodia's mountainous northeastern corner. Heavily jungled and home to 12 different 'Khmer Loeu' ethnic minority groups, Ratanakiri province has a real “edge-of-the-world” feel to it. 

The afternoon is at your leisure to explore the town.
Day 05

Kratie - Banlung

Exploring Banlung (continue)

Accommodation: Hotel in Banlung

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Today, visit the local market at Bar Kaev and continue on for sightseeing around Banlung taking a trip to AndoungMeas (Golden wells) district and continuing by boat to Taing Se commune along the Sre San River.

Meet a Charay hill tribe, gem mines and digging wells at Bar Kaev. On the way back, you will visit rubber and coffee plantations.
Day 06

Ta Vaeng

Visit minority villages in Ta Vaeng

Accommodation: Hotel in Banlung

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Proceed today for an excursion to Ta Vaeng and visit minority villages in the area. The people of these villages are known as Khmer Loeu (upper Khmer). They number approximately 70,000 and the majority are located in the northeastern provinces such as Rattanakiri, Mondulkiri, Stung Treng, and Kratie. Groups include the Jorai, Tumpoun, Krung, KraChok and Kavet.
Day 07

Vuen Sai

Excursion to VuenSai

Accommodation: Hotel in Banlung

This morning, you will be taken for an excursion to VuenSai. Visit CealRumplan (stone field) en-route and continue to VeunSai district. Take a boat trip on the Sre San river and stop at Kachoun village for a close look at the village life. Also visit Tumpoun village, Ou'lalay andKavet, a minority Chinese village.

At Banphangvillage, you will be able to experience the ritual of “cotton yarn wish” and “water spray” from the elders of the village.Visit NorngKabat forest before returning to Banlung.
Day 08

Komung Cham

After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to Kompung Cham following the same route to Phnom Penh.

Before approaching Kompung Cham provincial capital, you will stop to visit a rubber plantation.  Continue to the town of Kompung Cham.
Day 09

Komung Cham - Kompung Thom

Visit Wat Norkor and Sambo Prey Kub

Breakfast is at the hotel.

This morning you will visit WatNorkor followed by Phnom Prous and Phnom Srei on the way to Kompung Thom. In the afternoon, explore the remote temple of Kompung Thom called Sambo Prey Kub. 
Day 10

Kompung Thom - Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel followed by the drive to Siem Reap.

On the way, stop at the ancient Naga Bridge before proceeding to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel.

In the afternoon, take a TukTuk to visit the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm. It  is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Explore PreahKhan temple and other surrounding temples: Thenon to Preah Rup until the sunsets.
Day 11

Siem Reap

Visit the legendary Angkor Wat

After breakfast, you will start your full day visit.

First, the sightseeing tour of Angkor area. You spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. You can stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.
Day 12

Siem Reap

Cambodia - Pristine and Majestic

In the morning you will visit the enchanting BanteaySrei. It appears that the temple was designed to leave no space undecorated, and the fine carvings in pink sandstone are unique.

You will continue from here by car to a little chain of hills. After one hour, arrive in a place near KbalSpien and continue the journey on foot, following a white sand path which heads into the jungle. This very pleasant walk takes you through the beautiful forest. Please note that there are several narrow and steep passages on the way.

After approximately 40 minutes walking, you will hear the sound of a waterfall. Discover that the riverbed and the rocks around us are covered with carvings representing the gods of the Brahma religion dating back as far as the 11th century. This is the "Thousand Lingas Rivers". The water runs over the sculptures of Vishnu, Lakshmi, Hanuman, Rama and many Lingas, which were carved in stone in the past to sanctify the water and to thank the gods for their gift.

After this visit, go to BanteaySamre, with an elaborate architecture and exceptional carvings. Visit a local village and view Baray Oriental sites, built by Rajendravarman: BanteayKdey, Pré Rup, PreasatKhleang, Mébon Oriental. On the return journey to Siem Reap, you visit a Pagoda-Monastery, where young Monks study.
Day 13

Siem Reap - Departure

Goodbye Cambodia

Breakfast at the hotel and then drive to ChouengKneas village, where you will take the boat to visit the way of life the Cambodian people. Along the way you will see schools, restaurants, hospitals and much more all of these floating on the great lake of Tonle Sap.
