Highlights: Hoa Lu is the relics of the ancient capital Hoa Lu – the remains are the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the two heroes who lived in 10th century and chose Hoa Lu to build the citadel of this ancient capital city. From time to time, archaeologists have excavated buried parts of this citadel with rusty weapons and ceramics. The temples are said to be built on the old foundation of their original palaces in 11-12th centuries and restored in 17th century. It is about 4 km away for Tam Coc that means Three Caves. It is also called Halong-Bay-In-Land.

Along the way, we may take some stop-over for photo and refreshment while enjoying rural stunning scenery on the way. Arrive in Hoa Lu which is the former capital of Vietnam (968 – 1009) under Dinh and Le dynasties. Visit Dinh temple, Le temples and surroundings.
Then, continuing the trip to Tam Coc (literally means three caves). Tam Coc is often promoted as “Ha long bay on land “. Enjoy the scenic journey passing through the picturesque rural area. Savour a delicious lunch at a popular eatery and take a sampan boat trip through the canal crossing the beautiful rice paddy.
Travel back to Hanoi. Trip ends by 6:30pm.
