Day 01

Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be - Tan Phong Island - An Binh Island - Homestay

Visit Vinh Long and meet a local family

Accommodation: Homestay in Vinh Long

Meals: Lunch, dinner

8:00 Am our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city, traveling to Cai Be.

Upon arrival you start with a visit of Cai Be floating market. Then,we’ll come to Tân Phong island for biking / walking on village paths to see the local daily life: orchard, school, church, pagoda, traditional houses and maybe the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta.

On the way, we can make some stops tosee how they make rice-net for spring-rolls, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage roof and specially see how they wave the dried water-hyacynth to make many products: baskets, bags, hats, wallets, shoes.

Then, the rowboat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time.

Have a lunch at a local restaurant with Mekong river specialties. Back to our boat to go across one of the longests river in the world, Mekong River, to come to An Bình Island. Travel on Muong Lo handmade canal to check in at a local homestay

Have a fresh shower before cooking some special dishes with the members of local family. We’ll enjoy dinner & overnight at homestay.

Day 02

Homestay - My An - Hoa Tinh - Long Ho - Vinh Long - Can Tho

Enjoy a boat trip in Cai Be and spend the night in Can Tho

Accommodation: Hotel in Can Tho

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

8:00 Have a breakfast and check-out for a walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning & arrive thelocal workshopto see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice. Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea.

Then, we turn on Mỹ An canalto see many brick kilns on both sides of the canal & Hòa Tịnh canal, we will walk in the peaceful village to see how they make bricks, wave bamboo trays & baskets. Our boat continue to come to another village in Long Hồ to see how they make conical hats by hand, process to make rice noodles.

Also, you visit Vinh Long market in the town. This is a great chance to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables. The cruise will end at Vinh Long city around 11:30AM.
Back on to the car, traveling to Can Tho.
12:30 Arrive to Can Tho city. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon you are free at leisure. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 03

Can Tho - Cai Rang - Ho Chi Minh

Discover one of the highlights of the Mekong Delta and head back to Ho Chi Minh City

Accommodation: Not Included

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Get up early to visit the largest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta: Cai Rang market. This morning, you will have a chance to see the bustling life on the shore of river and people come here to buy large quantities of goods, mostly foodstuffs, and you will get an idea of what water commerce in the Delta looks like.

Then, visit the Binh Thuy Ancient House, a beautiful French colonial style house, surrounded by serene gardens, popular for film and photo shoots.

Then get back to your hotel for check out before your guide drives you back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Lunch will be taken on the way.
