Day 01

Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel to relax

Upon arrival, you will be picked up by your guide who will accompany and transfer you to your hotel for checking in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Day 02

Ho Chi Minh City Tour

08:00: Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel then escort you to the city’s Central Post Office, which was designed by the renowned French architect Gustave Eiffel, and Notre Dame Cathedral, the iconic landmark built between 1863 and 1880. Admired for its neo-Romanesque architecture, the cathedral is a popular backdrop for local wedding photographers. Next, stroll toward the Saigon River along Dong Khoi Street, which figured prominently in Graham Greene’s famous Vietnam novel, The Quiet American, to the Saigon Opera House, a commanding building completed in 1901. Shelled during World War II, it was used to shelter French citizens fleeing North Vietnam in 1954, the year Vietnam earned its independence from France. The tour continues with a stop at the Reunification Palace, where a North Vietnamese tank crashed through the gates in 1975 to end a war that killed an estimated 58,000 Americans and three million Vietnamese. You will also visit the War Remnants Museum, where Vietnam’s government has assembled presentations – some of them graphic – of wartime hardships and atrocities. Walk around China town and the Thien Hau Pagoda before going back to your hotel around 17:00.
Day 03

08:00: Asia Top Travel's tour expert picks you up at your hotel lobby. Travel through the typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province. Visit the Cao Dai Holly. See the temple where the followers of this religion practice a unique religious blend of all the major faiths of the world. The temple is dominated by the all-seeing eye, is an architectural wonder, a hotchpotch of styles from its contributing religions and ornamented in brilliant colors. The daily service is impressive. The worshippers wear robes of different hues denoting their function and status, and kneel in blocks in the nave to genuflect and pray while acolytes perform complex rituals.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.
 
After lunch, drive to the incredible Cu Chi tunnels, a 250 km underground tunnel system, was created manually by Vietnamese resistance fighters often known as Viet Cong during their long struggle for independence. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Transfer to your hotel around 17:00.
Day 04

Ho Chi Minh City - Ben Tre - Ho Chi Minh City

Take a boat trip to visit the Mekong delta

08:00: Meet your tour guide in your hotel lobby and transfer through the Mekong Delta to Ben Tre - the capital of coconut

On arrival in Hung vương Pier. Boating on Ben Tre river – one of tributaries of Mekong river- is along mangrove tree from town to country. Witness lively activities in morning as fishing, coconut cargo boats carrying on river. Stop at traditional brickwork to see how to make bricks by hand. Turn on Cai Son canal winding through coconut jungle, visit coconut workshop, have a look stages of coconut processing from husk off, prize out to peel out by hand. Go on small waterway and stop at a local house to see feeding bee, enjoy honey tea. Walking along canal to coconut candy workshop, have a look them making candy by hand, try some sweet, enjoy some fruits and listen to local music as well. Go on by boat, and walk to farmer house who making sleep mats.
Cycle rural tracks or drive tuktuk through coconut grove, vegetable plains (cucumber, bitter melon, etc.,).Keep going by rowing boat on shady palm tree canal and stop for lunch at riverside restaurant. Boating back Hùng vương pier by motorboat.
 
Drive back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City around 17:00.
Day 05

Ho Chi Minh City Departure

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight

After breakfast at the hotel, free time at your own leisure until the transfer to the airport for your flight departure.
