Day 01

Luang Prabang Arrival

Landing at Luang Prabang airport & transfer to hotel for check in

Day 02

Luang Prabang City Tour - Kuang Si Falls

Discover the highlights of the city and amazing Kuang Si Falls

After breakfast, Asia Top Travel tour guide and driver will bring you to visit National museum. After that we pay a visit to the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai. Next destinations are visiting Wat Xieng ThongWat Sene, Wat Xieng Mouane. Lunch is on your own cost. 
 
In the afternoon, you will drive out of town about 30 km to the beautiful Kuang Si Falls, where you can swim, relax, soft trek to the top of the fall. On return short stop at Black H'mong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. Arrive in the town, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore street night market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 03

Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave

As an optional, today you may want to get up early to participate in an arm-giving, hundreds of monks walking along side walk to collect rice and food from laymen. We then visit fresh morning market at Prakham village to see local lives.
 
After breakfast, You will meet Asia Top Travel's tour guide and we enjoy a boat ride upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xang Hai, where they make the distillation of local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong, well known for its hand weaving. Lunch and dinner are on your own cost. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 04

Luang Prabang - Fly To Hanoi

Say goodbye to Luang Prabang, you will take a flight to Hanoi

You are free at leisure for shopping or walking around the city on your own until being picked up and transferred to airport for flight to Hanoi.

Day 05

Hanoi City Tour Full Day

08.30 AM: Meet Asia Top Travel's tour guide and you will visit Hanoi with Ho Chi Minh Complex that completed in 1975. The complex includes the Presidential Palace, House-on-Stilts, and One Pillar pagoda. After that we will visit the Temple of Literature that was originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first University dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society place then and now on education. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we continue our trip to visit Museum of Ethnology: This museum is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic Groups. As well as the comprehensive array of exhibits inside, there are also traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the ground.

Then, we back to the center of Hanoi to visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake: The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the Hoan KiemLake, its history dating back to the 13th century. The temple is reached by crossing the The Huc Bridge which literally means the ‘Place Touched by Morning Sunbeams’. The Hoan Kiem Lake is the local point of the city and the source of many legends.

45 minutes Cyclo Tour through the Old Quarter: Also known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally each of the street names was related to the products being sold there. It’s a great place to explore on foot with numerous photo opportunities. Before back to your hotel, we watch Water puppet show at Thang Long Theartre. Tour ends around 17 - 17.30 at your hotel.

Day 06

Hanoi - Bai Tu Long Bay

Take an overnight cruise on Halong Bay

After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Halong.
11.30: Upon arrival at Vinashin Tourist Harbor, You are welcomed at our waiting room before enjoying the cruise.
12.15-12.30: Embark on Huong Hai Sealife. Enjoy welcome drink as Cruise Manager gives you a brief overview of the itinerary and important safety guideline. Check in your cabin.
13.00: Start cruising among famous Islets (Indochina studio, Am Islet…) of Bai Tu Long Bay, the wildest beauty with the panoramic natural views.
Admire the grace of the bay while enjoying the delicious lunch in the restaurant at the first deck.
14.30: Explore the well-hidden Co Cave (known as Thien Canh Son Cave). Relax on white sandy beach or walk along the beach at Hon Co Island (no swimming).
15.45: Return to Huong Hai Sealife and enjoy Happy hour. You will have 30% discount off from the special drinks list; including of cocktail, mocktail and mixed drinks (from 16.30 pm to 19.00 pm.).

16.30: Enjoy kayaking at Cong Do or relaxing on the cruise (kayking at additional cost)
18.00: Onboard the vessel, surrounded by a stunning, setting in motion, attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (spring roll) on the sundeck.
19.15: Dinner is served in the restaurant at the first desk. You can enjoy the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night.
21.00: Evening activities: relax at leisure; enjoy our Movie Night, Board Games or our Massage & Spa services (massage and spa fee is not included in the price), squid fishing. Overnight on Bai Tu Long Bay.

Day 07

Bai Tu Long Bay - Halong – Hanoi – Fly To Hue City

Say good bye Halong Bay & Hanoi for the evening flight to Hue ancient capital.

6.30: Welcome a new day with an amazing dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay. Refresh your body and soul with a Tai-chi session on the sundeck.
7.00: Catch the morning view of seascap while enjoying the breakfast with cookies and tea, café in the restaurant.
7.30: Visit Vung Vieng village – the famous fishing farm by bamboo boat and discover life of local people living on the surface of Halong Bay
8.30: Return to Huong Hai Sealife.
9.15: Pack up the luggage and check out of the cabin.
9.30-10.40: Enjoy the brunch in the restaurant while cruising back to Vinashin tourist harbor.
11.00: Disembark from Huong Hai Sealife, transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue

Arrive in Hue city, meet our tour guide and transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight in Hue.
Day 08

Hue City Tour

Discover the national capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945

08.00 AM: In the morning, taking boat trip along poetic Perfume River, breathing the fresh-air of the New Year spreading everywhere and reach to ancient Thien Mu pagoda, a special cultural - historical site where still preserves a legendary tale about the Heaven Fairy Lady since Nguyen Dynasty. Then, car will pick us up to Hue Citadel. Here you will walk around and take a look into the special feudal relics of immense architectural and cultural values. Then, we visit the major sites including the Imperial Citadel with Forbidden Royal City.

After lunch at local restaurant we visit the tomb and monument of King Tu Duc which is located in a very beautiful area. This is an opportunity to learn more about Nguyen Kings and to enjoy the spectacular landscape. Back to hotel in the afternoon.

Day 09

Hue - Hoi An Half Day City Tour

From Hue to the charming ancient town of Hoi An

8.00am, meet our tour guide at your hotel and we transfer to Hoi An city by crossing Hai Van pass. If you want, we can stop at Lang Co beach for taking some pictures. On the way, we will stop at Cham Museum – museum of ancient Champa kingdom’s sculptures & artifacts and Marble stone carving workshop at Ngu Hanh Son handicraft village en route to charming Hoi An.

Upon arrival in Hoi An, check in your hotel and we enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the Japanese Bridge. Back to your hotel late afternoon.

The rest of day, you are free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.  
Day 10

Hoi An - Rice Planting And Fishing Tour (joining a group tour)

8.00am, you will be picked up at your hotel by mini-van, we will bring you over the countryside where bike are available to ride. You start the day by cycling to the local farmer in Cam Thanh Ecological village. Here you are greeted by a local host and then you join with them how to grow wet rice with their family. Starting farming work like plough and raking with buffalo, riding water buffalo, learning how to transplant rice, flooding farm, grinding rice, pounding rice.

After that, our tour guide and van will bring down to a local fishing village. You will be boarded on boat . Joining to go fishing with local fishermen at Phuoc Hai local fishing boat to experience local cast net CHAI. Continue to visit water coconut palm jungle, enjoying the basket boat and visiting the water coconut palm forest. Learn how to make origami such as grasshoppers, flowers, rings, caps, bracelets toys made from water coconut leaves..., Having a fun to catch crab around the water coconut palm forest and after then boarding back boat, our cook will prepare delicious lunch and a cold beer or a soft drink. The shuttle bus will bring you back to your hotel. The rest of day, you are free at leisure. 
Day 11

Hoian - Danang Airport - Fly To Ho Chi Minh City

In the afternoon, our driver will transfer you to Da Nang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, our tour guide will pick up and transfer you to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Check in and relax. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12

Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi Tunnels - City tour

Visit Cu Chi historical site and Ho Chi Minh bustling city

8:00 Am, meet Asia Top Travel tour guide at your hotel lobby and depart for driving through pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi. 
We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels where the Vietnamese could escape bombings, hide from enemy, and mount surprise attacks. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. 
 
After lunch in Cu Chi, we head back to Saigon and take city tour a half day. We start by looking at the Notre Dame Cathedral that was built between 1877 and 1883. This is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Nearby is the Old Post Office that is another example of French colonial architecture and is also the country’s largest post office. 
 
Then, we move on to see the Reunification Palace. This is one of the most important buildings in the city. Here on April 30th 1975 the ‘American War’ officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. After that, we continue to visit War Remnants Museum - Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this is a poignant display of the futility of war.

Return to your hotel around 17.30. Dinner is on your own cost. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
 
Day 13

Ho Chi Minh - Ben Tre Boat Trip - Ho Chi Minh

Enjoy a peaceful day in Mekong delta

8.00am, meet our tour guide in your hotel lobby and we transfer through Mekong Delta to Ben Tre.
The boat will cruise along the Ham Luong river (a branch of the Mekong) and stop off at various local work places to give you a picture of how the local economy works, including a brickworks, where bricks are still painstakingly made by hand, a coconut processing workshop, where you can sample fresh coconut and see how every single part of this versatile nut is turned into food and other products, and a mat weaving house, where straw mats are woven using a hand loom.

The boat will then stop at a quiet village where you can have a short walk to experience real Delta village life, before boarding your xe loi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) and traveling into the forest where you can visit fruit orchards before stopping at a riverside restaurant for a delicious and filling lunch, featuring such local specialties as elephant-ear fish and river shrimp, washed down with some cold drinks or beers. It’s time to board a sampan for a relaxing trip along narrow canals. Take boat back to pier and go ahead to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

The rest of day you are free at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
