Day 01

Arrival – Chiang Rai

Welcome to Chiang Rai

Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Rai

Meals: Lunch

Upon arrival, meet and greet with local guide at Chiang Rai Airport then transfer visit Doi Mae Salong.

Wander around tea plantations and greet hill tribe people in their colorful costumes festooned with distinctive silver adornments. There are pinkish Wild Himalayan Cherry flowers, so-called Thailand’s Sakura, blooming all over the mountain.

Lunch at local restaurant

Continue driving to the ancient city Chiang Saen. Then carry on to the three country borders meet which is called “Golden Triangle”, visit Opium Museum then drive to Mae Sai, visit the Thailand and Mynmar border city.

Finally visit the Akha and Yao hilltribe village on the way back to the hotel.
Day 02

Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai – Tiger Kingdom

Visiting Chiang Mai By Long Tail Boat

Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Mai

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to the pier. Embark on a long tail boat along the Kok river, on the way, stop to meet the Long Neck Karen hill tribe villages.

Upon arrival at Thaton pier, have a lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit Thaton Temple, a large temple complex in a very attractive setting only a few kilometers from the border with neighboring Myanmar and discover Tiger Kingdom

Head back to Chiang Mai.

After the check-in, you are free to relax.
Day 03

Chiang Mai – Ban Mae Kampong

Ban Mae Kampong Excursion

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leave Chiang Mai though the scenic view of mountain green lush. On the way, stop at the local market to select the ingredient for making dinner by your own.

On arrival at Ban Mae Kampong, walk around the village, passing coffee and tea fields.

Refresh yourself at the 7-level waterfall where a picnic will be served.

Relax with a traditional massage at the village of Ban Mae Kampong.

At the end of the day, joint your hosts to prepare the dinner.
Day 04

Ban Mae Kampong – San Kampeang – Chiang Mai

Stroll around the village and relax at San kampeang Hot spring

Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Mai

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Offer alms to the monks at the village temple with your host.

The breakfast will be served by the host.

Stroll around the community to see the making of local hats, bamboo furniture making, bamboo handicraft, herbal products and the process of old tea leave fermented processing.

Relax at the San kampeang Hot spring in the 100 degrees Celsius water from underground. Visit San Kamphaeng district, heart of the silk and cotton home industries, to witness the fascinating process of making and weaving these popular fabrics.
Day 05

Baan Change Elephant Park (Join Group)

Baan Change Elephant Park

Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Mai

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Drive through agricultural Thai countryside North of Chiang Mai for one hour to Baan Change Elephant Park where you learn, how to be a Mahout (Elephant caretaker).

At the Park, the Elephant Mahout guide will give you first useful information's about the Thai Elephants. You get instructions for guiding and riding your elephant as well you get the chance to feed them.

After lunch, it's time to show what you had learnt in the morning. You sit on the back of the Elephant and try to control him during the ride through the beautiful forest and country side for about 1.5 hours as well you learn how to guide the Elephant into the river. There you get new skills in bathing and washing your Elephant. From the river bank, the guide will take some picture of you while you take care in bathing your elephant.

Time to say goodbye to a lovely elephants and Baan Change Elephant Park.
Head back to Chiang Mai.
Day 06

Doi Suthep Temple – Chiang Mai – Departure

Say goodbye to our team at Chiang Mai Airport

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

In the morning, transfer to the mountain temple of Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the most famous landmark of Chiang Mai. Its exquisite golden pagoda with 6 kg of pure gold at its peak and the rest plated with gold shines high over the city. The sound of temple bells fills the air, and the view down over the city makes an irresistible photo opportunity.
 
After lunch at local restaurant, transfer to Chiang Mai Airport.
