Chan May Port – Hue

Enjoy a day tour in Hue city - ancient capital of Vietnam

Upon your ship anchor at Chan May Port (Hue province) and you will mee our guide and driver to pick up and depart to Hue City.

Upon arrival the city central, we visit Hue Citadel. Here you will walk around and take a look into the special feudal relics of immense architectural and cultural values. Then we visit the major sites including the Imperial Citadel with Forbidden Royal City like in Beijing. Then, we have lunch at a local restaurant and take a boat trip to Thien Mu pagoda also known as heavenly lady pagoda, one of the best loved architectural pagodas in Vietnam considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. It is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601.
Finally, we visit the tomb and monument of King Tu Duc which is located in a very beautiful area. This is an opportunity to learn more about Nguyen Kings and to enjoy the spectacular landscape.
We transfer back to Chan May Port before time allowance.
