8.00: Our guide will meet you at your hotel or the meeting point in city center (district 1, 3) for a guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Start with the Central Post Office, designed by the renowned French architect Gustav Eiffel; and the Notre Dame Cathedral: the iconic landmark admired for its architecture. Next, stroll toward the Saigon River along Dong Khoi Street, which figured prominently in Graham Greene’s famous Vietnam novel: The Quiet American; to the Saigon Opera House, a commanding building completed in 1901. The tour continues with a stop at the Reunification Palace, where a North Vietnamese tank crashed through the gates in 1975 to end the war.  Visit the War Remnants Museum.

Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.

After visiting Cu Chi tunnel, you are traveling through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province. Visit the Cao Dai Temple where the followers of this religion practice a unique religious blend of all the major faiths of the world. The Temple is dominated by the all-seeing eye, is an architectural wonder, a hotchpotch of styles from its contributing religions and ornamented in brilliant colors.
The daily service is impressive. The worshippers wear robes of different hues denoting their function and status, and kneel in blocks in the nave to genuflect and pray while acolytes perform complex rituals.
We have scheduled a special lunch of the local cuisines in a popular local eatery for your taste of Tay Ninh cuisines.
