Day 01

Ho Chi Minh Arrival

Set off your trip in Ho Chi Minh city

Upon arriving in Ho Chi Minh, your tour guide will personally meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel for checking in. Hotel check in time is 14:00.

Day 02

08:00am: Our tour expert and driver will pick you up at the hotel, start your day tour of Saigon highlights. This trip features some of the best known relic historical sites of the Old Saigon, including the Reunification Palace that was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975. The War Remnant museum, formerly known as the museum of American War Crimes. This is a poignant display the futility of war. You also visit some of the best samples of French colonial architecture. They are the Notre Dame Cathedral church and the Saigon Central Post Office. Notre Dame Cathedral was built between 1877 and 1883, and the stones used to create it were exported in its entirety from France. 

Lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch, we continue to China town area to visit the most popular secret temple of Chinese Vietnamese community in Saigon, the Thien Hau Buddhist temple. The rest of the time is leisurely on shopping and visiting to the most bustling wholesale market in Saigon, also known as Cho Lon market, a well justified as Vietnam’s largest market. If time permit, you will also visit a famous lacquer ware workshop and enjoy interaction with the local artist, there are much technique to learn and of course it is a great shopping opportunity. 

Before finishing our tour, there is a wide selection of goods at Ben Thanh Market - a bustling. The tour finishes then you will be transferred back to your hotel around 17:00. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 03

Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh

Enjoy full day in Mekong delta

8:00: Our tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city with a drive to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province 72 km from Ho Chi Minh City (Former Saigon).
You will take time to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the most beautiful pagoda of the province with mixture structure of many styles.

Then take a boat trip round 4 beautiful islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. The boat brings you through Vam Xep canal where you will discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life.

Stops on the way can be made upon request for particular visits or photos making. Visit traditional house at  Quoi An village (all make from coconut). See coconut collection set and how locals make handicrafts from trunk and shell, guests can see that they waste nothing, coconut even useful from wedding to funeral. 

Enjoy seasonal fruit and listening to traditional music. Take horse cart on village path and stop at Ben Truc orchard, taste honey with tea or Mekong whisky (they have a funny rule for guests to get in). Also, we will visit coconut candy mill (special product of Ben Tre province). Enjoy a fantastic lunch at local restaurant. Then we will take small boat through Vam Chua small canal. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh around 17:00. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
 
Day 04

Cu Chi tunnels half day – Flight to Siem Reap

Explore the an incredible underground tunnel - A historical site from the US war then take a flight to Siem Reap. Say goodbye Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. Take a short flight to Siem Reap.

8.00: Meet Asia Top Travel tour expert at your hotel lobby and depart for driving through pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi Tunnels. 

We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels where the Vietnamese could escape bombings, hide from enemy, and mount surprise attacks. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. 

After that, we drive straight to Ho Chi Minh Airport for your next flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival in Siem Reap Airport, you will be escosted to hotel for check-in.
Day 05

Angkor Temples Tour

09:00: Start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area. We spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares.
 
We visit the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm - an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.
 
Depending on the timing and the weather, you can walk up to Phnom Bakheng Hill for a view of the spectacular sunset over these sandstone monuments.
 
Back to your hotel around 18:30. Overnight in Siem Reap.
 
Day 06

Banteay Srei - Floating village - Tonle Sap Lake - Les Artisans d'Angkor

08:00: After your breakfast, heading out of town. We make our way by traveling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way, we stop at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends.

Afternoon we visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of day visiting the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. 

Arrive to your hotel around 17:00. Overnight in Siem Reap.
